Troy Markusson is a global payroll executive with more than two decades of experience leading payroll operations for large multinational and public sector organizations. He currently serves as Vice President of Payroll at ABM Industries, overseeing payroll for over 100,000 employees across North America, managing union benefits, dues, and accounting for more than 600 labor groups, while modernizing operations through automation, AI-driven reconciliation, and workforce insights. Previously, Troy led payroll for 110,000 employees across 80+ countries at JLL and managed global payroll operations at McKesson, driving technology upgrades and process standardization. He also spent a decade at ADP, scaling client services across the Americas and implementing global payroll solutions. Troy contributes to the broader payroll industry as a member of Chime Workplace’s Payroll Advisory Council, advising on product innovation, best practices, and strategic payroll solutions, and is passionate about developing high-performing teams and elevating payroll as a strategic business function.
