Kathryn
Sherratt

Kathryn has extensive experience across financial services, retail and professional services spanning 30 years of leadership. She began her career at Deloitte working across various sectors both at home and internationally including 2 years leading the IFRS practice in Australia. After returning from Melbourne, Kathryn joined Barclays Bank where she was the Financial Controller of the UK Retail Bank. Responsible for £4.5bn of annual income, Kathryn drove several transformation and operational efficiency programmes. Moving to Financial Services Compensation Scheme, Kathryn was appointed the CFO on the Board working with HM Government and the financial regulators to protect public finances. Kathryn led the Women@FSCS programme and was a 30% Club mentor and shortlisted in the Women in Finance awards as CFO of the Year. Kathryn joined the Post Office in 2019 in Finance, supporting the business through Covid, the Postmaster Inquiry and culture/technology changes and was appointed Interim CFO from May 2023 until Summer 2024. After a short break, Kathryn recently joined the RNIB as CFO. Kathryn is a qualified Health & Wellbeing coach and is committed to promoting diversity of thought to drive business growth.
